I remember when I was five years old I had such a strange feeling being in my body. I remember wondering to myself what am I? On whatever conscious level I had at five, I knew I was not my body and felt separated from it. Thus began the knowing that what can’t be seen is far more fascinating and telling than what has taken form. For now I know, everything begins in the energetic realm.
My first career was as a Registered Nurse. Working with people who were often in extremely vulnerable states ignited expanding levels of compassion in me and also intuition. It is a profound experience to be able to interact with others who have no pretense, their facade stripped away and they gift you with the essence of who they really are. To then meet such purity with kindness and reverence is an opportunity I will always treasure.
Looking back, I am not sure why, but I really wanted to go to graduate school. So I bought a book that listed all the graduate schools in the United States and when I read about Denver University and their International Development program a little internal bell sounded. So I applied and got accepted and did obtain a Master of Arts in International Development and Human Rights with a regional focus in the Middle East. I have not worked in the field of my MA, but I did write a thesis on the influence of the unconscious in international relationships and I did an internship for a human rights organization in the West Bank of Israel.
A couple of years after graduate school I moved to London and studied at an art and interior design academy. Shortly before my move to London I began working as a love psychic. It was my spiritual mentor who suggested the line of work and for that I will be forever grateful. When I first started I did not know how it would go of course, but it turned out to be like putting a fish back into the water after it was waiting, suspended in the net. I was quick to obtain clients and some of those clients are with me to this day. I have been doing readings since the summer of 2003. I moved back to the states from London in 2007.
It is my belief that we are all multi-gifted and talented and some of us may not end up on what is perceived to be a traditional path, but we are all here to serve each other and enjoy in the doing and being our unique Self.
Smiles and love,
